| product description | tellurium tetrachloride is a white to yellow hygroscopic crystal with a melting point of 380±6 ℃ and a relative density of 3.2615. Tellurium tetrachloride is soluble in absolute ethanol and toluene. Tellurium tetrachloride deliquescates in humid air, and at the same time, part of the hydrolysis reaction occurs to produce HCl and TeO2. The melt is yellow and its vapor is brown-red. |

The product tellurium tetrachloride still contains a number of tellurium dichloride; use an electric heating sleeve to hold The three-port glass bottle of tellurium tetrachloride is heated to 420 ℃, and the materials in the three-port bottle are distilled with a chlorine gas stream to obtain tellurium tetrachloride with a purity of 99.99% in another, the inside of the distillation tower is replaced with nitrogen, heated to 420 ℃ with an electric heating sleeve, and the condenser is heated to 270 ℃. At this time, tellurium tetrachloride begins to distillate; about 10% of the primary distillate is separated, and then about 90% of the distillate is obtained. Anhydrous tellurium tetrachloride with purity greater than 99.99%. |
